Information and Explanation of the Issuer to this News: Valerie Diele-Braun to succeed Peter Vanacker Sulzbach (Taunus), GERMANY, July 2, 2018 – Valerie Diele-Braun, 46, is to become the new CEO of the CABB Group, the fine chemicals manufacturer announced today. On August 27, 2018, she will succeed Peter Vanacker, who is moving on to a position as CEO of the Neste Corporation, Finland. In her previous role as a member of the executive board of Swiss chemicals manufacturer Archroma, Diele-Braun, was responsible for dynamically developing the business areas of packaging and paper specialties as well as coating, adhesives and sealants. She was also responsible for business development at a company-wide level. From her earlier positions at DSM, Givaudan and as a management consultant, Diele-Braun – who holds German and Swiss citizenship – also has comprehensive experience in growth and transformation projects, especially in specialty chemicals. ‘We’re delighted to have been able to attract Valerie Diele-Braun as the new CEO of the CABB Group,’ explains Roberto Gualdoni, Chairman of the Advisory Board. ‘Her broad expertise in the chemical industry, her customer-oriented management approach and her significant experience in leading positions at international companies makes her the perfect appointment.
