solarhybrid AG

  • ISIN DE000A0LR456
  • Country Deutschland

Company profile

solarhybrid AG is solely focused on turnkey solutions for solar power plants on a multi-megawatt scale. In just a few short years, it has become one of the world’s leading companies in its sector. solarhybrid now provides all the areas of expertise this requires:

  • Project development

  • Financing, structuring & marketing

  • EPC (engineering, procurement, construction)

  • O&M (operation & maintenance)

This brings four major benefits for investors, customers and partners:

  • high levels of transparency

  • no friction losses

  • rapid realisation timescales

  • extremely high probability of realisation

Depending on what the situation requires, you can take advantage of all our service modules or just a combination of those needed. But whatever the scope used, the combination of technological and financial expertise is key. The financing, structuring and marketing of large-scale projects are handled by the wholly-owned subsidiary solarhybrid capital management.

In 2010 and 2011, solarhybrid realised photovoltaic plants with a total nominal output of 266 MWp. Between 2010 and 2011, the company’s portfolio increased massively from 48 MWp to 218 MWp, with contracts for another 123 MWp about to be placed. Currently the project pipeline includes 2.85 GWp sited in Germany, Italy, the US and South Africa, whereby of the 2.85 GWp US-projects generating an output of 2.25 GWp are subject to contractual completion with Solar Millennium (as at: October 2011).

The concentration on large-scale projects can also be seen from the trend in average project size. In 2010, average project size was 7 MWp but by 2011 this had risen to 20 MWp. These figures clearly show the strategy of solarhybrid AG: growth through project size and not number of projects.

The capability of solarhybrid AG in the EPC sector is also on the up. The Dedelow solar power plant with an output of 4 MW was installed in just 7 days. The Fürstenwalde 40 MW project was completed in just 10 weeks and the Drehwitz solar power plant (30 MWp) in 11 weeks.

solarhybrid operates on a global scale. Business is managed from offices in Hamburg, Frankfurt am Main and Brilon (Sauerland), Germany. There are also local subsidiaries in the US, Italy, South Africa, North Africa and the Middle East.

Shares in solarhybrid AG are listed in the General Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
