Christian Klein biography


Christian Klein is Chief Executive Officer and member of the Executive Board of SAP SE. In his role, Klein holds the overall responsibility for the corporate strategic direction, management, and performance of SAP.


Klein joined the SAP Executive Board in 2018 as the head of the Intelligent Enterprise Group, combining global responsibility for the development and delivery of SAP’s core applications with the cross-board area mandate for SAP’s global business operations.


Klein started his career at SAP in 1999 as a student. After holding various positions across the company, including Chief Financial Officer of SAP SuccessFactors and SAP’s Chief Controlling Officer, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer of SAP in 2016, a role in which he continued until 2021. On October 11, 2019, he was named Co-CEO of SAP SE together with Jennifer Morgan, before being appointed the sole CEO on April 20, 2020.


Klein holds a diploma in International Business Administration from the University of Cooperative Education in Mannheim, Germany.

Dominik Asam biography


Dominik Asam is a member of the Executive Board and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of SAP SE. His responsibilities include the areas of finance and administration, and he has served in this function at SAP since March 2023.

Prior to joining SAP, Asam had served as CFO at Airbus SE from April 2019 to February 2023 and Infineon Technologies AG from 2011. In 2010, Asam was Head of Group Controlling at RWE AG. From 2005 to 2010 he held various positions at Siemens AG, e.g., CEO of Siemens Financial Services and Corporate Vice President and Treasurer. From 2003 to 2005, Asam headed Investor Relations, Mergers & Acquisitions and Strategy at Infineon Technologies AG. Asam began his professional career in 1996 in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs Inc.

Asam graduated in Mechanical Engineering at Technical University of Munich and École Centrale Paris. He also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from INSEAD (European Institute of Business Administration).

Juergen Mueller biography


Juergen Mueller is a member of the Executive Board of SAP SE, leading the Technology and Innovation board area. As Chief Technology Officer (CTO), he oversees SAP’s platform and technology development. In addition, he is responsible for innovation efforts related to SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), new technologies as well as global security and compliance.


Juergen contributes to SAP’s vision of enabling every company to become a resilient, sustainable, and intelligent enterprise by providing its technological foundation, SAP BTP. The platform brings together application development and automation, data management, analytics and planning, integration, and generative artificial intelligence capabilities into one unified environment optimized for SAP applications. 


Since joining SAP in 2013, Juergen has held distinct leadership roles, serving as the Head of the Innovation Center Network, Managing Director of SAP Labs Berlin, and SAP’s Chief Innovation Officer. In 2019, Juergen was appointed to the Executive Board of SAP SE as CTO, taking on responsibilities for SAP’s platform and development unit.


Juergen has a diploma in business informatics from the University of Goettingen, Germany, and holds a PhD with emphasis on new applications optimized for in-memory databases from the Hasso-Plattner-Institute in Potsdam, Germany.


In 2020, Juergen was included on Fortune’s 40 Under 40 and joined the World Economic Forum’s Community of Chief Digital Officers.

As a member of the Executive Board of SAP SE, Scott Russell leads Customer Success, the company’s global sales, services, partner, and customer engagement organization.


Scott is a passionate proponent of the latest innovations and simplified commercial models that help organizations move to and transform in the cloud quickly. Together with his leadership team, Scott’s focus is listening to and acting on the voice of the customer. He is responsible for orchestrating diverse teams across 180 countries to help organizations of all sizes and industries maximize the value they derive from their technology investments over their lasting relationship with SAP. Scott also sits on the Board of Directors of Experience Management (XM) provider Qualtrics.


Having joined SAP in 2010, Scott is well known for his authentic and energetic leadership style in inspiring transformation and growth in organizations. With his deep-rooted belief in leading with purpose, Scott is an active champion of compassionate, sustainable, and inclusive business.


Prior to being named to the SAP Executive Board, Scott most recently served as President of SAP Asia Pacific Japan (APJ). Under his leadership, APJ evolved to become one of SAP’s fastest-growing cloud markets globally. In his 11-year tenure with SAP APJ, he held numerous senior leadership positions, including head of APJ’s Professional Services organization, the region’s Chief Operating Officer, as well as President and Managing Director of SAP’s business in Southeast Asia.

Thomas Saueressig biography


Thomas Saueressig is a member of the Executive Board of SAP SE. He leads the Board area SAP Product Engineering and has global responsibility for all business software applications. This includes all functional areas from product strategy and management to product development and innovation as well as cloud operations and support. He is responsible for a portfolio that includes the SAP S/4HANA suite, the SAP Digital Supply Chain portfolio, SME, SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud, and industry solutions. In addition, SAP Product Engineering is responsible for offerings such as SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, SAP Fieldglass, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP Customer Experience solutions. Saueressig is also in charge of the global SAP Labs Network and the SAP Enterprise Adoption organization including SAP Globalization Services, user enablement, and the overall quality of SAP software products. Before being appointed the head of SAP Product Engineering, Saueressig was chief information officer (CIO) and global head of IT Services at SAP. As CIO, he was responsible for SAP’s IT strategy and execution following a cloud-first approach. Under his leadership, the IT organization pioneered new business models. Prior to that, he led the enterprise mobility efforts including all cross-functions, followed by global responsibility for the IT project delivery and client IT organizations. Saueressig started his career at SAP in consulting for CRM implementations. He spent several months in SAP Labs Silicon Valley in Palo Alto, California (USA), and was a Board assistant for several years. He was included on Fortune’s 40 Under 40 list in 2016. As global sponsor for the SAP Business Women’s Network, the largest employee network at SAP, and for the Women in Technology initiative at SAP, Saueressig supports corporate initiatives for gender equality. Saueressig has a degree in Business Information Technology from the University of Cooperative Education in Mannheim (Germany) and a joint executive MBA from ESSEC Business School (France) and Mannheim Business School (Germany). Since April 2022, Saueressig has been a member of the Board of Directors of Nokia.

Julia White biography


Julia White is Chief Marketing and Solutions Officer and member of the Executive Board at SAP SE. In her role, White leads the product and industry solution value propositions, go-to-market approach, global brand and digital marketing, corporate communications, and government affairs. 


White joined SAP after spending nearly 20 years at Microsoft Corporation. Most recently she was Corporate Vice President of product marketing for Microsoft Azure helping grow the business to become the world’s second largest public cloud. Prior to this, she spent 8 years within the Office division where she was instrumental in leading the product’s evolution from an on-premises technology to establishing Office 365 as the leader in cloud productivity services. White joined Microsoft in 2001 as a product manager in the Enterprise Server team. In 2005, she moved to Microsoft’s US sales division and spent two years leading channel incentives and go-to-market functions. 


White has a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and a master’s in business administration from Harvard Business School.


White sits on the Board of City Year Seattle/King County, chartered on being an anti-racist, youth empowerment organization.
