Highlight Communications AG is the parent company of a media group headquartered in Switzerland. Founded in 1983, it has been listed on the stock exchange in Germany since 1999. As a strategic and financial holding company, it combines the two segments Film and Sports- and Event-Marketing.

With its 100% stake in the subsidiary Constantin Film AG, Highlight Group is the leading independent film production and licence company in German-speaking countries. In the home entertainment field, the Highlight Group enjoys a strong market position in video distribution thanks to its Rainbow Home Entertainment companies in Switzerland and Austria and its cooperation partner, Paramount Pictures, in Germany.

In the Sports- and Event-Marketing segment, the Highlight Group holds an 100% stake in Team Holding AG, which is with its subsidiaries one of the world’s leading Sports- and Event- Marketing agencies. The TEAM Group has been marketing the rights to the UEFA Champions League exclusively and globally on behalf of UEFA since 1992. Further marketing projects on behalf of UEFA include the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Super Cup.

Thanks to its proficiency in marketing pan-European events, the Highlight-Group – as of 2012 on through its subsidiary Highlight Event and Entertainment AG – has marketed the rights to the Eurovision Song Contest for the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) since 2003 as well as the New Year’s Concert and Summer Night Concert for the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
