Thorsten Hermelink (born 1969) completed his business studies at the University of Lüneburg in 1994 with a Business Administration degree. He subsequently held senior positions at international-scale trading companies, latterly as management board member of a leading retail company. While there he gained wide experience in the strategic focusing and expansion of such businesses, and in the development of multi-channel sales systems. He has been Chief Executive Officer of Hawesko Holding SE since December 2015. Thorsten Hermelink is responsible for group strategy, e-commerce and distribution as well as Corporate Human Resources and Corporate Development.

ALEXANDER BORWITZKY, COO, HAMBURG

Alexander Borwitzky (born 1968) completed his MBA at Nottingham University Business School in 1992. He has held management positions in several international retail groups and has been a director of Jacques’ Wein-Depot since 2013. He has been Board of Management member, will become chief operating officer and is responsible for group-wide platforms and multi-channel retail.

Hendrik Schneider, born in 1971, took up his position as Chief Financial Officer of Hawesko Holding SE on January 1, 2024. He studied business administration at the Hamburg University of Economics and Politics and graduated with a degree in business administration. He held management positions in the Controlling/Finance division of the Otto Group and was Chief Financial Officer for Hermes Germany GmbH.

Hendrik Schneider is an expert with industry experience who is well versed in retail and e-commerce and has extensive and valuable knowledge of the logistics sector, which is important for the Hawesko Group. As CFO of Hawesko Holding SE, Hendrik Schneider is responsible for Corporate Finance, Corporate Audit and Corporate Legal, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications.
