Travel24.com AG was founded in Munich in 1996 and has been listed at the Frankfurt stock exchange since 2000 (Prime Standard). Travel24.com acts as an independent reseller of travel products in German and international markets. Since June 2010, Travel24.com AG has been present in Austria and Switzerland, with Travel24.ch and Travel24.at respectively. In September 2010, Travel24.nl was launched in the Netherlands. In January 2011, Travel24.com AG has also entered the Business Travel Segment with an own Online Booking Tool. Market entry in the UK was completed successfully in November 2010. Travel24.co.uk is run as a unique hotel metasearch: Travel24 uses revolutionary technology to search the internet for millions of hotel reviews. The technology is based around personal preferences and displays a range of hotels, price options and the hotel report customers need to make their booking decision.
