SiC Processing GmbH: Commissioning of further Production Lines in Baoding / China
SiC Processing GmbH / Key word(s): Enterprise/ 17.06.2011 / 09:32 - Production Lines 3 and 4 successfully commissioned - Additional 30.000 tons annual Production Capacity - Start of Construction Production Lines 5 and 6 Hirschau, 17th June, 2011 - In May 2011 production lines 3 and 4 in Baoding / China were successfully commissioned for the recycling and recovering of used sawing suspension (=slurry) for a major customer in China. With these 2 production lines the annual production capacity in Baoding was increased by 30.000 tons to 60.000 tons. This corresponds to a total investment of EUR 22 Mio. In Q2/2011 construction works and equipment installation for further expanding the production site Baoding for production lines 5 and 6 with an additional annual production capacity of 30.000 tons have started as scheduled. Commissioning of the additional 2 production lines 5 and 6 in Baoding is planned for Q1/2012. With the expansion to 6 lines a total annual production capacity of 90.000 tons will be reached by Q1/2012 in Baoding. Construction and installation works are on schedule. In total the SiC Processing Group will reach an annual production capacity of 400.000 tons by Q1/Q2 2012 for the recycling of used sawing suspension (=slurry) for photovoltaic and semiconductor industries at productions sites in China, Italy, Norway, US and Germany and thereby sustain its market share of 40% worldwide and strenghten its position as market leader worldwide.
