New innovative business models cause significant changes in the modern world, while Participants of the second edition of the Multiplatform Customer Experience conference, organized in Warsaw by Sollers Consulting, had a chance to learn best ways for companies, especially from the financial sector, to deliver a superior customer experience. The proof Responsive Web Design (RWD) paradigm is an approach ensuring convenient and intuitive web page browsing on different devices. Thanks to presentations of experts from the ING Bank Śląski and Generali, the participants had an opportunity to discover how to develop new-generation mobile banking solutions in order to improve the User Experience (UX) The conference was also attended by distinct international speakers. David Travis (Userfocus Ltd) shared practical tips and examples of how UX practices can be effectively utilized. Thus, the RWD and UX presentation was supplemented by a discussion about Agile – an IT projects management methodology significantly improving the process of creating intuitive applications by close cooperation between business and IT. Daniel Sloan (Madison Henry) provided with examples of behaviors of highly effective design teams and ways Conference was summarized by a panel discussion about the practical use of the User Experience in financial sector. Barbara Borgieł – Cury (ING Bank Śląski), Artur Olech (TUW Pocztowe) and Rafał Stankiewicz (Grupa Warta) discussed how to utilize UX practices and Agile methodology in order to answer the challenges of the modern world. One of the analyzed issues was an approach to Generation Y (18-34 years old) while building processes and solutions, and the issue of defending from Google – with an important question how Google will try to expand into the financial market, and if within the next 5 years it will succeed.
