The Azure services for the European region will be operated from datacenters in Amsterdam (NL) and Dublin (IRL). Alternatively, Azure will also soon be available in Germany via a new data trustee model (Microsoft Cloud Germany). "Thanks to the various versions on offer, colleges and universities can be sure that they fulfil the national, regional and industry-specific requirements relating to the recording and usage of data," said Stefan Schick, Director of Education at Microsoft Deutschland GmbH.
