SiC Processing closes contract negotiations for further expansion successfully
SiC Processing GmbH / Key word(s): Issue of Debt 28.02.2011 / 16:21 - successfull participation at PV fair in Shanghai - further 75.000 tons per year contracted - further strenghtening of market position Hirschau, 28th February 2011 - looking back on the past SNEC PV Power Expo 2011 in Shanghai, SiC Processing announces a successfull participation at the fair. Besides many interesting meetings and contacts SiC Processing was able to close contract negotiations successfully. SiC Processing managed to sign contracts with 3 nameable chinese wafer producers for further 5 production lines with a total capacity of 75.000 tons per year for recovering and recycling used sawing suspension (=slurry) for PV industries. This equates to a total investment of approximately 45 million EUR. Together with the existing capacities and plants under construction SiC Processing reaches a total capacity of cir. 400.000 tons per year worldwide by Q1/Q2 2012. By this further expansion SiC Processing is able to enhance its market share of 40% worldwide and to strenghten its position as market leader for the recovering and recycling of used sawing suspension.
