Vitec signs contract for FSHS patient information system

The system will cover the main operations of FSHS including scheduling, patient information and billing. The contract is for seven years and is calculated to around 4 million euro. Vitec delivers by SaaS patient information system that covers most of modern day out-patient clinics activities. FSHS's focus was to find a system and provider that is integratable and comprehensive. Vitec will develop several new value-adding features into its existing Acute-system and integrate to several third party services. - Electronic health record procurement was done focusing especially on the needs of the personnel and student healthcare specialities. In the first round nine vendors participated and we continued with the three most potential ones. Of those three Acute got most endorsements from personnel who took part in the demos and usability tests. Acute as the new electronic health record for FSHS will give us change to further enhance our electronic services and broaden our service portfolio, both of which are in our strategic scope, says Olli-Pekka Luukko, CFO FSHS. - This is one of the biggest single deals for our Acute-system.
