CENTROTEC was created in 1998 through modifying conversion of a company that specialising in plastic gas flue systems for modern condensing boilers. From a starting point of EUR 14 million revenue for the predecessor company in 1998, by 2019 the group had grown to a revenue position of EUR 651 million – partly through organic growth and partly through acquisitions based on a strategy of expansion in the areas of health, comfort and energy. Under the umbrella of the CENTROTEC Group, various well-known brands such as Wolf, Ubbink, Brink, Ned Air and Centrotherm have now been brought together, each selling their own products under their separate brand name.
The group is a fully integrated systems supplier of all key technologies for energy conservation and energy efficiency in buildings. As well as ultra-efficient condensing boiler technology, these include most notably systems that use renewable energies, in particular solar thermal and heat pumps, as well as combined heat and power units. CENTROTEC is furthermore a leading European supplier of ventilation systems with heat recovery, and of gas flue systems for condensing boilers.
