announces the update of the fire outbreak of the Company

The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce the following
update on the fire outbreak that occurred on 5 November 2012:-

 1. A total of seven employees were injured in the fire outbreak and they
    were rushed to Huizhou Hospital for immediate treatment. Out of the
    seven injured employees, five suffered minor injury where two of them
    were contract employees supplied by outsource labor supplier while the
    remaining three were direct employees of the Company. After treatment,
    they are expected to be discharged soon. The other two severely injured
    employees were contract employees supplied by outsource labor supplier.
    Following the intensive treatment, the condition of one of the contract
    employee has stabilized and recovering well. Unfortunately, the other
    one had passed away on 17 November 2012. The Company expressed its
    deepest condolences and sincere apologies to the affected families.

 2. The production facilities that was destroyed in the fire outbreak was
    an old one that was moved over from the old factory. It was a PVD trial
    production line built in 2008 and not a main production line. The fire
    outbreak did not affect the other production facilities and therefore
    is not expected to have a material impact on the production and
    operation of the Company. The total damages caused by the fire outbreak
    was estimated to be about RMB8 million, which include loss of
    production facilities, medical expenses and compensation.

 3. The relevant investigation by the local authorities is still ongoing.
    Once completed, the Company will discuss with insurance company on the
    insurance claims.

The Company will make further update announcements pertaining to this
matter once the relevant information is available.
