Asiapac Minerals in Funding Discussions with Interline Management Co. to develop mining properties

Ltd. announced today that it is in discussions with Interline Management Co. (China) of China, who have expressed interest in participating in the development of one or more of the mining properties the Company has in development in the Philippines. Interline will be conducting due diligence and evaluation of the assets, with the expectation that if the process is satisfactory, they may take a working interest in up to 3 of the properties as part of an estimated investment of up to $20 million USD. In related matters, the Company wishes to clarify that its press release issued on January 6, 2010 may have inferred that the AsiaPac Minerals properties have proven and probable reserves of gold, silver and copper. The Company notes that its properties are adjacent or geographically close to existing mines in these 3 areas for which gold and other metal reserves have been proven. The Company has not yet conducted sufficient development work on its own properties in accordance with NI 43-101 to prove out any reserves at this date. The intent of the Interline discussions is to provide funding to undertake the development and drilling programs required to establish the mineral reserves on AsiaPac's properties.
