Viscom AG

Carsten Salewski was born in 1968, in Lüneburg, Germany. After graduating from the Herderschule Lüneburg secondary school, he entered the Electrical Engineering program at the University of Hanover in 1988. In 1993, Mr. Salewski was employed by Viscom while still a student; in parallel with this vocational training, he completed his studies with the title Diplom-Ingenieur in 1995.

Mr. Salewski was initially engaged as a software developer and project engineer for customer-specific projects. After successful conclusion of his studies with the thesis entitled “Multi-Sensorial Feature Extraction on Three-Dimensional Objects Using a 5-Axis Portal System,” Mr. Salewski also took responsibility for sales of customer-specific image processing solutions and as Unit Manager, established the business unit IBV.

In 2003, Mr. Salewski assumed management of international business in America and in 2004, started as CEO of the American subsidiary headquartered in Atlanta, along with the associated business locations in Silicon Valley, California, and in Mexico.

Since 2001, Mr. Salewski has been involved as executive employee in various areas of Viscom AG, including sales and management, as well as a business unit and subsidiary manager. With over 20 years in the electronics industry, he has significant experience with international major customers and trade fairs. He is chairman of the IPC SMEMA Council in the IPC, the leading American electronics industry association. Since 2015, he has also been a volunteer member on the Board of Directors of the German American Chambers of Commerce in Atlanta.

He has been appointed to the member of the Executive Board of Viscom AG on June 2018.

Martin Heuser was born in Kempen on the River Rhine in Germany in 1957. In 1976 he completed his Abitur (German A-levels) at the natural sciences secondary school, Fichte-Schule, in Krefeld, Germany. In 1978, he studied electrical engineering at the University of Hanover, and graduated with the title “Diplom Ingenieur” (electrical engineer) in 1984.

In the same year, together with Volker Pape, he founded a civil-law partnership for industrial image processing. Two years later this was changed to the Viscom Industrielle Bildverarbeitung GmbH. Following the company’s conversion to the Viscom AG in 2001, he was appointed as a member of the Executive Board. Thanks to his endeavours Viscom, after more than 30 successful years of business, is now European market leader in printed circuit board inspection and ranks among the top three worldwide.

In 1990 Dr. Martin Heuser did his doctorate on the topic “A Relaxation Process for Position Determination of Three-Dimensional Objects from a Monocular Perspective” at the Institute for Theoretical Communications Engineering and Information Processing.

Dirk Schwingel was born in Diepholz in Germany in 1963. In 1983 he completed his Abitur (German A–levels) at the Söderblom secondary school in Espelkamp, Germany. In 1985, he studied economics at the University of Paderborn, and graduated with the title “Diplom-Kaufmann” in 1991.

Still during his study time Dirk Schwingel worked at ITT Automotive Europe GmbH (today´s Continental AG) in Gifhorn, Germany. After approximately 4.5 years he changed to Rheinmetall-Group, an internationally operating and listed conglomerate. After different positions within the Rheinmetall AG (Dusseldorf) and Jagenberg AG (Neuss) in 1999 he changed into the function of the managing director of Benz & Hilgers GmbH in Neuss, which he held till the middle of 2010.

Since the 1st of July, 2010 Mr. Schwingel has been employed at Viscom AG in Hanover. First he held the function of Head of Finance and Administration, with effect from the 1st of June, 2011 he has been appointed to the member of the Executive Board of Viscom AG. Furthermore, Dirk Schwingel has been a member of the Hanover Stock Exchange Council since April 2017.
